Document (Reg. No5452) suggests adoption of the parliamentary hearing recommendations.
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine is entrusted with the rapid scrutiny of the Bills "On Protection of the Journalists Professional Activity", "In Amendments to certain Laws of Ukraine regarding the provision of Transparence regarding Property Relations in Mass Media, "On Access to the Public Information", "On Conception of the State Informational Policy" etc." The Parliament is also supposed to define the legal principles and terms of the social and public television, complex program on transfer from analogue to digital television broadcasting etc.
The Document also contains the recommendations for the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to submit immediately for the Parliamentary scrutiny the Bill "On Reformation of the State and Municipal Printed Mass Media". The Cabinet of Ministers is also supposed to elaborate the amendments to the Law "On State Aid to the Mass Media and Social protection of the Journalists" in the part of implementation of the mechanism of the economic support of the regional mass media at the expense of the state Budget subventions (according to the peculiar budget program).
